Evidence-based nutrition counseling rooted in intuitive eating and Health at Every Size. No food rules. No weigh-ins. Just a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food.
Every conversation we have, every tool I share, sits on three evidence-based pillars. They aren't trends. They're decades of research about how humans actually heal their relationship with food. The program built on these principles is The Full Dropout.
Created by dietitians Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. Ten principles that reconnect you with your body's natural hunger, fullness, and satisfaction signals. No forbidden foods. No counting. The practice of trusting your body again.
A weight-neutral approach to wellbeing. Health is measured by labs, energy, sleep, and mobility — not the number on a scale. Every body deserves dignity, basic care, and respect, regardless of size. We focus on health behaviors, not weight.
A collaborative, evidence-based counseling style. I won't lecture you, prescribe rules, or tell you what to do. Instead, we explore what you actually want — and resolve the ambivalence that's quietly kept you stuck. Your wisdom drives the work.
For most of my adult life I believed the next plan would be the one. The cleanse. The macros. The "lifestyle, not a diet." Each one promised peace and delivered exhaustion — followed by another cycle of restriction, rebound, and self-blame.
What finally changed wasn't more discipline. It was learning that the system was rigged from the start. Diets fail because of biology, not character. Once I understood that, I could finally do the real work: rebuilding trust with my own body.
Now I help others walk that same path — gently, at their own pace, without weight loss as the goal. This work changed my life. It can change yours, too.
Diet Dropout: An Intuitive Eating Workbook is a 35-page guided journal that walks you through seven chapters of healing your relationship with food — your diet history, your hunger language, emotional eating, nutrition without rules, mindful meals, joyful movement, and your own intuitive eating manifesto.
Buy the book and you'll get a free 60-minute 1:1 session with me — the password to redeem it is printed inside. No catch, just a thank you for trusting the work.
You've tried every diet. They all worked until they didn't.
That's not a willpower problem. That's biology. Your body is designed to fight restriction — and it is very, very good at its job.
The answer was never a better diet. It was learning to work with your body instead of against it.
That's what we do here.

No. Intuitive Eating is explicitly weight-neutral. There's no meal plan, no calorie target, no food rules, and no scale. The framework was developed by registered dietitians and is supported by over 200 peer-reviewed studies. It is the opposite of a diet.
I don't prescribe weight loss as a goal — that's part of why this work succeeds where dieting fails. Your body has a genetically influenced set point it actively defends. As you eat in ways that nourish you, sleep well, and move joyfully, your body may settle at its natural weight. But weight is a possible by-product, not the target. The goal is your relationship with food and yourself.
All sessions are virtual via secure video, so we can work together from wherever you are. Clients come to this work from all kinds of places — schedules and time zones welcome.
I'm a counselor, not a therapist. The work I do focuses specifically on your relationship with food, your body, and movement — using motivational interviewing, intuitive eating principles, and HAES-aligned nutrition education. If you're navigating a clinical eating disorder or significant mental health concerns, I work alongside (not in place of) a licensed therapist or treatment team.
Less lecture, more conversation. We'll talk about what's coming up for you, get curious about patterns, and look at the science behind what your body is doing — never with shame. You leave with one or two specific things to practice, never a rulebook.
I don't bill insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement depending on your plan. Reach out and I'll walk you through it.
Healing your relationship with food is not about eating perfectly. It is about no longer needing to.— From the journal
