The First Step · $127

One session. No long commitment. Real answers.

For when you’re not ready to commit to a program but need a real conversation about where you are with food, your body, and what comes next.

What this session is.

A 60-minute one-on-one conversation, on Google Meet, with me — Kayla Smith. Real coaching, not a sales call. No script. No worksheet you have to fill out. Just an actual conversation about where you are with food and what would help.

You bring whatever’s loud right now. We talk through it. By the end, you’ll have a clearer picture of what’s going on and what — if anything — to do next.

This session is for you if…

Quick answers.

How long is the session?

60 minutes.

Is it on video?

Yes. Google Meet. You’ll get the link 24 hours before.

What if I need to reschedule?

You can reschedule up to 24 hours before through Calendly. After that, the session is forfeit.

Can I do more than one?

Yes. Many clients book a First Step session and then decide to move into The Foundation or The Full Dropout. There’s no obligation to do so.

Is this covered by insurance?

No. Coaching is not insurance-covered. Some HSA/FSA accounts may cover it — check with yours.

This is coaching, not therapy or medical care. If you are experiencing a clinical eating disorder, please work with a qualified treatment team. The National Alliance for Eating Disorders helpline can connect you with appropriate care.

Questions

Asked honestly.

What happens in the $127 session?

A 60-minute one-on-one conversation on Google Meet. No script, no worksheet — you bring whatever’s loud right now, and we talk it through. Afterward you get a written summary of what we discussed and any next-step suggestions.

Is one session actually enough?

One session is a start, not an ending. It’s enough to get a clearer picture of what’s going on with food and what to do next. If there are years of rules to untangle — and for many people there are — you’ll know after this hour whether it’s work you want to keep doing.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No prep required. You book and pay through Stripe, pick a time, and get a Google Meet link about 24 hours before the session. Bring whatever you want to talk through.

Will you give me a meal plan?

No. No meal plans, no calorie targets, no weigh-ins. This is intuitive eating coaching — the work is rebuilding trust with food, not adding new rules.
